The European Accessibility Act (EAA) is not just another GDPR: it’s a proper, meaningful step in making sure that everyone, especially the 1 in 4 who has disabilities, can have an ‘equal’ say with digital products and services.
At the heart of it, the EAA is about leveling the field ensuring that one can travel through the digital universe with equal ease whether it’s through websites, mobile apps or other day to day tech. For businesses, this means adopting new accessibility standards much like the journey that began with the GDPR. But is this just the starting point for many companies? And how can they prepare?
