The company was founded last year by Kyran O'Mahoney, a vision-impaired tech entrepreneur who has worked for Ryanair, Dunnes Stores, Vision Ireland (formerly NCBI) and AIB.
Nexus Inclusion secured an initial investment of €2m in 2025 and raised over €1.5m in additional private investment in recent months.
Its AI-powered digital accessibility platform is intended to help organisations identify and resolve accessibility.
The platform analyses websites, content, images, video and digital media, providing practical guidance and actionable fixes to improve compliance and usability for individuals with disabilities, neurodivergent people, and people with a range of comprehension levels.
The platform allows businesses to build a picture of compliance over time while continuously monitoring and offering solutions to accessibility barriers, ensuring a good browsing or shopping experience for users of all abilities.
The software will help buisinesses access a market of over 1bn people globally and comply with regulations such as the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
Despite growing regulatory pressure with the introduction of the EAA, fewer than 4% of the top 1m websites globally meet the internationally recognised Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standard.
“Most digital accessibility software can scan and identify issues. The difficult part is fixing the problem,” said O’Mahoney, CEO and founder of Nexus Inclusion.
