Nexus Inclusion aims to become Europe's accessibility leader
Nexus Inclusion, an accessibility business, plans to hire five new staff over the next year to aid its efforts to become the European market leader in digital accessibility.
Nexus Inclusion was recently featured in the Business Post, where our founder, Kyran O’Mahoney, shared the story behind Nexus and our mission to make digital experiences more accessible.
In the interview, Kyran talks about growing up with a visual disability, how technology has changed his life, and the experiences that inspired him to create the company. He also explains why digital accessibility can feel complex for businesses, and how Nexus Inclusion aims to help making this process simpler and more manageable.

Founded in 2024 by Kyran O’Mahoney, Nexus Inclusion currently employs eight staff and has secured €3.5 million in funding to date.
“We help people make their websites and digital products usable for everyone. That sounds simple, but it’s actually quite complex. To make websites work for people with disabilities can be very complex,” O’Mahoney told the Business Post.
“We’re taking something that can be an overwhelming process and breaking it down into a more manageable and easy solution for our clients.”
Nexus provides website audits, scanning the pages of websites, and provides a report on what needs to be fixed.
The company then provides ways to fix each issue, such as alternative text for images for those with visual disabilities and subtitles for videos for the hearing impaired.
The idea for the company came from O’Mahoney’s own experience as a partially sighted person.
